Organic Groups

The heart of Simplicity is relationships.  We believe deep personal relationships must be at the center of everything we do. 

Our ministry is built around Organic groups.  These groups are made up of two or more people who are committed to living out their faith together. 

Organic groups meet in homes, offices, coffee shops or any other venue that lends itself to relationship building.  Each group meets weekly to study the Bible, share burdens, celebrate victories and worship from the heart.   Weekly meetings are concluded with a celebration of communion.

Simplicity Church

Simplicity Church is the place where local Organic groups and the general public come together for corporate worship and mutual edification. 

Each Simplicity church staff member works in either a bi-vocational role or as a self supporting missionary.  We do this for two primary reasons:

• It is our belief that each pastor needs to be in constant contact with the mission field that they are trying to penetrate; therefore we strive to keep our staff members immersed in the culture they are ministering to.
• We prefer to see the offerings of the people utilized for the ministry of God's kingdom as our groups touch lives in the name of Jesus.

We do encourage our groups to show their love to those that serve them through the use of the care basket.   The care basket is a place where each staff member can receive cards of affirmation; coupons for a date night, oil change or bag of groceries; a love offering or a pledge of monthly financial support for the individual minister.

Simplicity  chooses to own no property, instead utilizing leased space.  We believe that the resources of God's kingdom are best spent on people and not property upkeep. 

Simplicity has no formal membership, but instead recognizes that the Holy Spirit's work of joining the body of Christ together is sufficient. 

Simplicity churches are built around a singular focus upon the person, power and presence of Jesus Christ.  

Our services consist of three elements:

• Worship that comes from the overflow of a grateful heart. 
  
• Verse by verse application based teaching of the Bible
• Corporate prayer that is focused upon the needs of the people around us

To ensure our singular focus, we choose to remove announcements, programs and musical performances from our worship services.
